PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a chairs having various shapes, while ensuring the strength by processing lumber.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a chair is used for manufacturing a chair having leg parts and a seat part supported by the leg parts. The method includes: a laminating step S01 for forming a laminated member by laminating a plurality of single boards; a wooden board molding step S02 for pressing a pattern frame against the laminated member in order to shape it into a wooden board which is formed such that one side in a cross-sectional view is opened and extends in a direction orthogonal to the cross-section; and a seat-part fixing step S06 in which the wooden board is arranged so that the extending direction is directed in a vertical direction and at least the lower part of the wooden board is made as the leg parts while the seat part is fixed to the wooden board. |
