PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing server capable of accurately providing information of other users whose preferences are similar.SOLUTION: A server comprises an information communication unit 101 which receives content processing information for first content processed by a client 200, an action history DB 111 which stores processing history information about a processing history for second content and an information provider group selection unit 107 which increases preference coincidence of a second user who has given an instruction of processing for the second content when there is uniformity between the content processing information and the processing history information, and selects the second user as an information provider when the preference coincidence is equal to or more than a prescribed threshold. The information communication unit 101 transmits information included in the processing history information of the information provider to the client 200. |
