The arrangement has two wheels (2a,2b) for driving on two parallel rails and connected over wheel shaft (2C). A base (3) supports two support elements (1a,1b) of wheels. A driving apparatus is combined with support element (1a), to move support element (1a) in longitudinal direction, to excite mechanical vibration of support element (1a) in longitudinal direction. The support element (1a) is coupled to base over resilient coupling (4,5) so that return force effecting displacement of support element in longitudinal direction from rest position leads to mechanical vibration. An independent claim is included for method for analyzing torsional vibrations.
