A method, a device and a mobile terminal for controlling an interface display by scrolling a scroll bar are disclosed. The method comprises the steps of: detecting screen display mode; when the screen display mode is a non-full screen display mode, if a scroll bar scrolling detection process detects the scroll bar is dragged to scroll up, the screen display mode is switched to full screen display mode; when the screen display mode is full screen display mode, if no touch operation is detected after detecting the scroll bar was dragged to scroll down by the scroll bar scrolling detection process, the screen display mode is switched to non-full screen display mode. The method for controlling the interface display according to the present invention makes the user operation more convenient, and less robotic, which can significantly improve the user's operating experience of browsing web pages, electronic newspapers and pictures.
