PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus that can be easily set up a print medium.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus has: a housing; a print medium support part that rotatably supports a roll state print medium; a paper guide; an upper surface regulating member; a print head; a print medium installation means; and a print medium conveying means. The paper guide can arrange a band-like print medium drawn out from the roll state print medium on the surface. The upper surface regulating member is provided in a part of the surface of the paper guide so that a gap is provided between a surface of the paper guide and the upper surface regulating member. The print medium installation means is provided to be able to move between the position to touch a part except the parts in which the upper surface regulating member is provided among the surfaces of the paper guide and the position separated from the surface of the paper guide. The print medium conveying means conveys the band-like print medium sandwiched by the surface of the paper guide and the print medium installation means to the gap between the surface of the paper guide and the upper surface regulating member. |
