PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in a communication device.SOLUTION: The communication device performs communication with another communication device using differential signals transmitted through two signal lines according to the reference potential of the other communication device. The communication device includes a power supply unit and a communication unit. The power supply unit outputs as a power signal a logical OR signal of the differential signals transmitted through the two signal lines. The communication unit, which is driven by the power of a power signal output from the power supply unit, performs communication with the other communication device using the differential signals. |
