The ring has first and second busbar elements (4, 4a, 4b) constructed as flat conductor elements, where the first busbar element is electrically insulated relative to the second bus bar element using a flexible insulating fabric (6). The bus bar elements are connected to a busbar element package unit using a connecting unit. The connecting unit is selected from a group consisting of a cable tie element and a clamping element. The busbar element package unit is arranged with a predetermined shaped coil. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a power distribution ring.
