The invention relates to mechanical engineering for the petroleum industry, in particular to multistage well pumps for extracting formation fluid. The stage of the multistage submersible pump comprises a guide apparatus (2) and an open-type impeller (1) having a bush (3) with an attached drive disc (4), on the lower side of which there are arranged profiled working blades (5). Rectilinear vortex blades (6), which ensure a reduction in the axial force acting on the impeller (1), are arranged over the periphery on the upper side of the drive disc. The invention makes it possible to eliminate the use of expensive elements which complicate the process for the assembly of the stages, whilst maintaining a high degree of wear resistance and reliability of the structure under conditions in which liquids with an increased content of mechanical contaminants are pumped.
