摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the catalyst activity of a lower hydrocarbon aromatization catalyst which generates an aromatic compound by making lower hydrocarbon catalytically react, and to contribute to the improvement of the moldability of the catalyst.SOLUTION: A lower hydrocarbon aromatization catalyst is obtained by pressure-molding a mixture obtained by mixing a metallosilicate carried with catalyst metal and large in particle diameter, and a metallosilicate carried with the catalyst metal and small in the particle diameter. A metallosilicate whose particle diameter is not smaller than 1.0 μm and not larger than 5.0 μm is used as the metallosilicate large in the particle diameter, and a metallosilicate whose particle diameter is not smaller than 0.1 μm and not larger than 1.0 μm is used as the metallosilicate small in the particle diameter. A ratio of the metallosilicate large in the particle diameter with respect to a mass of the lower hydrocarbon aromatization catalyst is set to be not smaller than 20% and not larger than 80%.
