摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery negative electrode, with which it is possible to obtain a lithium ion secondary battery that excels in charge characteristics and charge/discharge cycle characteristics, a manufacturing method of the lithium ion secondary battery negative electrode, and a lithium ion secondary battery having the lithium ion secondary battery negative electrode.SOLUTION: A lithium ion secondary battery negative electrode according to the present invention includes: a collector layer; and a negative electrode active material layer made of a tin structure, wherein the tin structure includes a plurality of protrusion portions that protrude approximately vertically to a main surface of the collector layer and have a shape where cross sectional areas of tip end portions of the protrusion portions parallel to the main surface of the collector layer are smaller than those of base end portions of the protrusion portions parallel to the main surface of the collector layer. Also, a manufacturing method of the lithium ion secondary battery negative electrode according to the present invention includes the steps of: forming a tin coating for a surface of the collector layer; and forming the tin structure including the plurality of protrusion portions, which protrude approximately vertically to the main surface of the collector layer, by pressing a mold against the tin coating.
