PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a liquid ejection head unit that can enhance attaching workability of the liquid ejection head to a support member and maintainability, to provide a liquid ejection head unit, and to provide a liquid ejecting apparatus.SOLUTION: A recording head unit is manufactured through: a position adjustment step of regulating the position of a recording head body 32 to a head fixing member 33 based on the alignment pattern; a first fixing step of fixing a head fixing member and a recording head body; and a second fixing step of fixing the base plate and the head fixing member while the mounting position to the base plate is defined by making the head fixing member touch the positioning surface of the base plate.
