PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixer for mixing a medical agent and a mixture liquid which blocks the medical agent within a closed space even when the medical agent leaks or volatilizes from a vessel, and prevents exposure of the medical agent from extending outward.SOLUTION: A mixer 1 mixes a medical agent stored in at least one medical agent vessel 50 and a mixture liquid stored in at least one mixture liquid vessel 60 using a syringe, and includes: a body part 10 having a closed space S1; a syringe-holding part 20 by which a communication part and the closed space can communicate with each other; a medical agent vessel-holding part 30 capable of holding the medical agent vessel while the insides of the medical agent vessel and the closed space can communicate with each other; and a mixture liquid vessel-holding part 40 capable of holding the mixture liquid vessel at the outside of the closed space while the inside of the mixture liquid vessel and the closed space can communicate with each other. The syringe-holding part can hold the syringe while the communication part is relatively movable in the closed space with respect to the insides of the medical agent vessel and the mixture liquid vessel so that the communication part communicates with the insides of the medical agent vessel and the mixture liquid vessel after the communication part communicates with the closed space.
