摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery forklift capable of preventing a lubricant from leaking to the outside of a case of a deceleration mechanism without increasing the size of the deceleration mechanism.SOLUTION: A battery forklift includes a deceleration mechanism 41 which reduces the speed of the rotation of a rotation shaft 61 of a motor M and transmits the reduced speed to an axle 80 of a rear wheel 16. A first helical gear 67 rotating integrally with a driving shaft 62 that is connected to the rotation shaft 61 is stored in a case 42 of the deceleration mechanism 41. The driving shaft 62 is supported rotatably to the case 42 by a pair of bearings 63, 64 arranged on vertically upper and lower both sides of the first helical gear 67. At the case 42, there is formed a communication recessed part 59 which makes a gear storage space 56 on the vertically lower side with respect to the upper side bearing 63 arranged on the vertically upper side than the first helical gear 67 communicate with a cavity 55 on the vertically upper side with respect to the upper side bearing 63.
