PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost driving support device, etc. having a simpler structure and considering a collision between an object outside of a sensor detection area and an own vehicle.SOLUTION: A driving support device comprises: object detection means for detecting an object in front of an own vehicle; vehicle state detection means for detecting at least a vehicle speed of the own vehicle; collision determination means for determining a degree of risk of a collision of the own vehicle with the object; and warning means for conducting a warning on the basis of the result of determination by the collision determination means. The driving support device comprises detection area outside object estimation means that, on the basis of a position of the object when the object existed inside of the detection area of the object detection means and the speed, estimates a position of a detection area outside object existing outside of the detection area of the object detection means for a specified period of time. The collision determination means determines a degree of risk of collision of the own vehicle with the detection area outside object estimated by the detection area outside object estimation means, and the warning means warns that there is a possibility that the own vehicle collides with the detection area outside object. |
