<p>A surface grinder (100) causes an x-axis table (2) to move by using a table moving mechanism (20) that includes a bi-directional hydraulic pump (24), and the surface grinder is provided with the following: a control device (9) for controlling the movement of the x-axis table (2) where the position or speed of the x-axis table (2) serves as the control target; a main controller (9A) for controlling the bi-directional hydraulic pump (24) in accordance with a table position instruction or a table speed instruction from the control device (9); and a thrust compensator (9B) for controlling the bi-directional hydraulic pump (24) so as to cancel force that prevents the movement of the x-axis table (2).</p> |
