PURPOSE: A vibration absorbing device using a reaction wheel is provided to stably absorb vibration which is generated from a target object in the various directions and sizes. CONSTITUTION: A vibration absorbing device (100) using a reaction wheel comprises an angular speed detection unit, a reaction body unit (120), reaction wheels (131-133), a wheel drive unit, and a controller. The angular speed detection unit detects the size and direction of the angular speed of a target object which is generated by vibration of the target object. The reaction body unit is mounted on the target object. The reaction wheel is rotatably mounted on the reaction body unit, and provides the target object with an angular momentum, which is generated by the vibration of the target object, in the opposite direction of the angular momentum. The wheel drive unit drives the reaction wheels. The controller controls the wheel drive unit to provide the target object with the angular momentum, which is generated by the vibration of the target object, in the opposite direction to the angular momentum. |
