A heat insulating mat for a folded plate and a heat insulating roof using the same are provided to prevent scratches while joining a metal plate, molding the folded plate by roll-forming, and transporting the heat insulating folded plate, by laminating a thermoplastic resin film on one or both sides of an inorganic fiber mat. A heat insulating mat for a folded plate is composed of an inorganic fiber mat(11) that is a glass fiber mat and at least one of a first thermoplastic resin film(121) laminated on one surface of the inorganic fiber mat and a second thermoplastic resin film laminated on the other surface of the inorganic fiber mat. The first and second thermoplastic resin films are a single or multi-layered film made of at least one of polyolefin resin, polyamide resin, and alloy resin of polyolefin resin and polyamide resin. |
