The film dispenser (1) has rollers (5,6) that are provided with holders (3,4). A cutting device (10) is spaced apart from the rollers. A cutting bar (11) is arranged transverse to the revolution direction of films (7,8). A cutting edge (13) and a cutting surface (16) are located between a cutting carriage (12) and the cutting bar. The cutting edge and the cutting surface are provided for the disconnection of the films which are pre-tensioned during a shift of the cutting carriage.
