PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quenching device capable of reducing a cost required in an equipment for forming and quenching metal parts and a running cost, and appropriately obtaining metal parts with high strength and high quality.SOLUTION: A quenching device 1 is constituted so as to heat a quenching object part 51 by making a pair of electrodes 4A and 4B abut to both sides of the quenching object part 51 in a metal part 7, and by turning on electricity between the pair of electrodes 4A and 4B. Each of the pair of electrodes 4A and 4B is divided into a plurality of contact parts 41a in contact with the metal part 7, and a plurality of noncontact parts 41b not contacting with the metal part 7, and the plurality of the contact parts 41a and the noncontact parts 41b are alternately arranged. |
