PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which, when recovering a precious metal from an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble sulfur compound and the precious metal by electrolysis, the deposition of the precious metal on surfaces other than the cathode such as the anode or a wall surface of the electrolytic cell can be prevented without using chemicals.SOLUTION: In a method for recovering a precious metal, when recovering the precious metal from an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble sulfur compound and the precious metal by electrolysis, a gas is supplied into the aqueous solution so that the redox potential of the aqueous solution during the electrolysis becomes -500 mV to +100 mV. |
