PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running control device capable of performing turning of a vehicle reflecting a driver's intention, while suppressing an uncomfortable feeling imparted to a steering operation of the driver in case of controlling steering of the vehicle for avoiding contact with an object present around the vehicle.SOLUTION: In presence of an obstacle within a steering zone, steering for avoiding contact with the obstacle is performed not on front wheels 2FL, 2FR but on rear wheels 2RL, 2RR. Steering on the front wheels 2FL, 2FR is performed based on a steering indication from a driver by a steering wheel. When steering of the front wheels 2FL, 2FR changes toward a direction opposite to a turning direction by steering of the rear wheels 2RL, 2RR, steering control of the rear wheels 2RL, 2RR is stopped. |
