PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electro-optic device capable of suppressing decrease of productivity and producing a highly reliable device allowing excellent characteristics, and to provide the electro-optic device.SOLUTION: An electro-optic device includes electro-optic layers 3 disposed in pixel regions G partitioned by a partition member 6 between a pair of electrodes 4, 5 arranged on inner surface sides of a pair of substrates 1, 2. A manufacturing method of the electro-optic device includes: a step of forming partitions 6a partitioning the pixel regions and the partition member 6 having a bottom 6b connected to the partitions 6a, by pressing a mold member to a partition formation material arranged on one electrode 4; and a step of injecting impurities into the partition member 6 from a side opposite to the one electrode 4. |
