Disclosed are a television cursor moving method and device. The television cursor moving method comprises the steps of: obtaining a two-dimensional code value of a two-dimensional code reading device located on two-dimensional code coordinate paper; and according to the two-dimensional code value and the current location of a cursor, calculating to obtain an absolute coordinate value of the cursor, and redisplaying the cursor at the absolute coordinate value. The present invention achieves television cursor movement through the two-dimensional code technology, reduces the operation difficulty, is more suitable for people to use, and meets the demands of people.
