摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a novel composite metal oxide catalyst and a method for producing polyester using the same. The metallic bond compound of the present invention has higher catalytic activity than antimonial catalyst and conventional titanium catalyst, readily and stably synthesized, effecting sufficient polymerization activity even with small amount, and can be used as an eco-friendly catalyst for polymerization to produce polyester. Also when producing polyester by using a composite metal oxide of the present invention, phosphor (P) used as a heat stabilizer to reduce pyrolysis during forming hot melt does not lower catalytic activity, and thus can be used much so as to reduce pyrolysis, thereby decreasing yellowing and maintaining high viscosity. Hence, the present invention can be used for producing polyester of excellent physical properties, especially polyethylene terephthalate.</p>
