This separator conveyance device (300) has: cylindrical rotating bodies (310, 320) that hold, on the outer peripheral surfaces (311) thereof, a continuously supplied separator material (S); and cutting units (350) that cut the separator material held on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical rotating bodies while being held on the outer peripheral surface, thus cutting out separators (40) having a predetermined shape. Then, the separators cut out by the cutting units are conveyed by rotating the cylindrical rotating bodies while maintaining the state of holding the separators on the outer peripheral surface. By means of the separator conveyance device, since the separators are cut out on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical rotating bodies, the tension acting on the separator during cutting becomes uniform and the shape of the separator after cutting is stable. Furthermore, as the cut out separators are conveyed by rotating the cylindrical rotating bodies while maintaining the state of holding the separators on the outer peripheral surface, it is possible to convey the separators while maintaining the stable shape of the separators after cutting. |
