PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connection member capable of efficiently connecting an optical element such as a multi-core fiber having a plurality of cores and optical components such as a plurality of single core fibers with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An optical connection member 1 for connecting a MCF 2 having a plurality of cores with optical axes parallel to each other to a plurality of SCFs 3 includes: a body section 11 including a first end 13 of a MCF 23 and a second end 14 on the SCF 3 sides: a plurality of waveguide sections 12 which are disposed in the body section 11 and are extended to connect the first end 13 and the second end 14; a first fixed component 20 holding one end of each of the plurality of waveguide sections 12 at the first end 13 and a second fixed component 21 holding the other end of each of the plurality of waveguide sections 12 at the second end 14. Each of the first and second fixed components 20 and 21 fixes each end of the plurality of waveguide sections 12 in such a manner that each of the plurality of waveguide sections 12 are parallel to each other therein.
