The plug-in module (42) has a terminal contact of spring-loaded that is electrical contact with a busbar (12) of the electrical switchgear. The cutting and/or locking unit (16) with terminal contact is reversibly separable by the electrical contact of the bus bar. The cutting and/or locking unit is provided with shift element and bar lock. A force initiation element is operable in response to the locking state of the cutting and/or locking unit. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) electrical switchgear; and (2) method for checking of plug-in module and/or consumer.
