PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for efficient use of resources even if a media data receiving apparatus does not grasp the network structure of plural data transmission apparatuses.SOLUTION: A media data transmission apparatus for transmitting media data to data reception apparatuses connected to a network comprises: reception means for receiving an instruction execution request from a data reception apparatus; determination means for determining whether it is possible to execute the instruction of the instruction execution request received by the reception means; management means which manages address information on the other data transmission apparatus connected via the network; and subcontracting means which, if the determination means determines the execution of the instruction to be impossible, subcontracts the execution of the instruction to the other data transmission apparatus of the address information managed by the management means. |
