PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery case that has high rigidity while ensuring a volume of a tray member.SOLUTION: A battery case 7 for housing batteries 8 for driving an electric vehicle includes: a resin tray member 10 for supporting the batteries 8; a support member 30 disposed on a lower surface of the tray member 10 to support the tray member 10 from below; raised walls 11a, 11b, 13F and 13R raised on the tray member 10; and sheet metal tray members 40 arranged on the tray member 10. The sheet metal tray members 40 each have a plurality of sheet metal recess portions for receiving the batteries 8, and sheet metal flange portions 42 arranged on upper surfaces of the raised walls 11a, 11b, 13F and 13R. The raised walls 11a, 11b, 13F and 13R each have through holes 6 passing through in the standing direction of the raised walls. The support member 30 and the sheet metal flange portions 42 are fastened to the tray member 10 by means of sheet metal fastening members 50 passed through the through holes 6. |
