摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for providing a high-quality plastic lens for spectacles suppressing an occurrence of orange peel.SOLUTION: There is provided the method for manufacturing a plastic lens for spectacles using a cast polymerization method. The surface hardness of the plastic lens after demolding is Rockwell hardness of 100 or less on the R scale. Plastic lens raw material liquid contains a radical polymerization initiator having a 10-hour half-life temperature of less than 60°C and a radical polymerization initiator having a 10-hour half-life temperature of 60°C or more. The polymerization reaction is performed by a low-temperature polymerization step in which the molding die filled with the plastic lens raw material liquid is heated at a low temperature range of less than 90°C, and a subsequently performed high-temperature polymerization step in which heating is performed at a high temperature range of 90°C-100°C. The high-temperature polymerization step is performed to satisfy the following expression: (1) F≥-0.4T+42 [in the expression, Tis the heating temperature (°C) in the high-temperature polymerization step, and F is the holding time (hours) at the heating temperature T].
