PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for a plurality of content reproduction devices to simultaneously start reproducing content held in common.SOLUTION: A reading unit 10 reads out content data indicating content and meta-data identifying the content. A communication unit 12 receives meta-data from another content reproduction device 200 with which radio communication is established. A determination unit 13 determines whether or not there is content in common between content identified by the meta-data received by the communication unit 12 and content identified by the meta-data read out by the reading unit 10. A reproduction unit 14 starts reproduction of common content at the same timing as the content reproduction device 200. The communication unit 12 transmits meta-data identifying the common content to the content reproduction device 200.
