PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that can satisfy characteristics of a wide viewing angle, has excellent display quality, can reduce the number of exposure, and can be easily obtained.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises a pair of substrates, and a liquid crystal layer held between the substrates. The liquid crystal display device includes a light alignment layer, and a linear alignment control structure; and alignment division is performed in four or more liquid crystal alignment areas in one pixel with voltage below a threshold voltage by the light alignment film included in one of the pair of substrates and the linear alignment control structure in the other of the pair of substrates. |
