A first computer having a sensor that reads an image records, at an authentication information recording unit, authentication information for using a second computer, uses the sensor to read a device information image containing device information pertaining to the second computer, and on the basis of the result of reading the device information image, transmits to a third computer the authentication information for using the second computer.
