PURPOSE: A tide apparatus using a heat pump is provided to produce fresh water by easily desalinating seawater, to establish equipment which produces fresh water with a simple configuration, and to apply the apparatus in various places and equipment in which fresh water is needed. CONSTITUTION: A tide apparatus comprises a desalination unit(100), a warm water circulating system(200), a refrigerant circulating system(300), and a fresh water storage system(400). The desalination unit produces fresh water by evaporating seawater through the first heat exchange of warm water and sea water, and the second heat exchange of a gas refrigerant in low temperature and low pressure and vapor obtained by evaporating the seawater. The warm water circulating system supplies the warm water to the desalination unit through the third heat exchange between raw water and a gas refrigerant in high temperature and high pressure, and circulates cold water generated by the first heat exchange to execute the third heat exchange. Once the gas refrigerant in low temperature and low pressure becomes a mixed refrigerant in low temperature and low pressure through the second heat exchange, the refrigerant circulating system produces the gas refrigerant in high temperature and high pressure for the third heat exchange by compressing after the separation of a liquid refrigerant. Once the gas refrigerant in high temperature and high pressure becomes a liquid refrigerant in high temperature and high pressure through the third heat exchange, the refrigerant circulating system provides a gas refrigerant in low temperature and low pressure to the desalination unit through conversion.
