PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translating multifocal contact lens.SOLUTION: Provided are a lens having multiple optical zones and a lower-lid contact surface, and a method process and apparatus for implementing the same. The lens may optionally have an under-lid support structure. At least part of one surface of the translating multifocal contact lens can be a free-form lens including: a lower-lid contact surface which can, when an eye changes from one optical zone to another, limit the amount of translation of the lens across a surface of the eye; and optionally an under-lid support structure. |
