PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gasification melting device capable of reducing the emission of carbon dioxide by reducing the usage of cokes in a waste gasification melting furnace, reducing operation costs of the waste gasification melting furnace with respect to fuel, and being stably operated.SOLUTION: A waste gasification melting device includes a carbide manufacturing device 13 having a reacting section provided with a biomass material receiving space and heated by an external heat source, and producing carbide by heating and carbonizing the biomass material, at least one of a secondary combustion chamber 10 and a boiler 12 is connected to the carbide manufacturing device 13 to supply waste heat recovered from at least one of the secondary combustion chamber 10 and the boiler 12 as the heat source of the carbide manufacturing device 13, and the carbide manufacturing device 13 is connected to a gasification melting furnace 1 to supply the carbide produced by the carbide manufacturing device 13 to the waste gasification melting furnace 1 as fuel. |
