PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reliable locking of an opening/closing door at all times while preventing the occurrence of incomplete locking caused by forgetting of locking or erroneous transmission, in a latch device for a door with a cylinder lock.SOLUTION: When a latch bolt 20 reaches a receiver S and is in a slightly locked state, but is at a position before a locking position which is not in a sufficiently locked state, a trigger 30 is floated in a direction Y perpendicular to a linear movement direction X of the latch bolt 20 by an urging force of an urging spring 25 and a regulation projection 29 is fitted into a lock hole 39 of a front face top board 17, thus restricting the movement of the latch bolt to limit rotation of a rotary cam 40. Then, a key K inserted into a keyhole 32 is not at an insertion and pulling-out position but at a position disabling the insertion and pulling-out shifted before the insertion and pulling-out position, and the key K cannot be pulled out. Thus, it is informed that the latch bolt is now not at the locking position and that the locking of an opening/closing door is insufficient. |
