PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rolling resistance by reducing weight of a tire while maintaining steering stability.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes a carcass layer 6 with both end parts in a tire width direction extending from a tread part 2 to respective bead parts 5. A carcass cord of the carcass layer 6 is made from four-axis fabric in which, from a tire equator surface CL to both outsides in the tire width direction, within a range from 95% to 120% of a half of tread development width TDW, a vertical material being substantially 0° against a tire circumferential direction, lateral material being substantially 90° against the tire circumferential direction, and two diagonal materials crossing each other, being 20° to 30° against the tire circumferential direction are woven together. Further, both outsides in the tire width direction in the range are constituted by the lateral material. |
