Manufacturing method for a rib of an aerodynamic engine strut fairing involving superplastic forming and splicing

The method involves realizing a rib preform (46a), by superplastic forming, for each rib of group of ribs, where the preform has a quadrilateral contour (50) and a central opening (52) traversing the rib preform. The rib preform is divided into four preform parts (56a-56d), for one of the ribs in the group having a smaller size than that of the rib preform, where the rib preform is made from titanium alloy. The parts are connected with respect to each other to obtain the rib of group of ribs. An independent claim is also included for a lower rear aerodynamic fairing lower aft aerodynamic fairing for mounting device of engine interposed between wing surface of an aircraft and an engine.
