PURPOSE: A multi-modulating interferometric radar altimeter and a multi-modulation method through the same are provided to solve the problem of signal processing time, distance ambiguity, distance resolution, jamming, etc. through the selection a modulation method. CONSTITUTION: A processor (110) generates a pulse radio frequency (RF) signal or a frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) signal. A transmitter (120) inputs the generated signal into an antenna through a coupler and a circulator and radiates the signal. A receiver (162,164,166) receives a pulse RF signal or an FMCW signal, which were radiated and then returned from the outside, and down-converts the signal.
