Cooling assembly and method for a ventilator control

The method involves determining a selected temperature difference for an air utilized for cooling a server rack relative to power consumption of an exhaust air unit (9) and a cooling unit (11) depending on the temperature difference. An actual temperature difference is measured between two temperatures of the air utilized for cooling purposes. Speed of a fan (10) for the exhaust air unit is adjusted depending on a deviation between the determined optimized temperature difference and the measured actual temperature difference. An independent claim is also included for a cooling arrangement comprising a rack housing.
