A backlight unit and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) using the same are provided to form plural receiving grooves on a PCB and mount plural protrusions of optical sheets in the receiving grooves, thereby minimizing the flow of the optical sheets. In one end of a PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(161), an LED(Light Emitting Diode) is mounted. Optical sheets(140) are disposed as crossing the PCB. A biting member(200) is installed in an area where the PCB and the optical sheets cross each other, and prevent a flow of the optical sheets. The biting member comprises plural receiving grooves(203) formed on the PCB and plural protrusions(201) formed in one end of the optical sheet. |
