A heat exchanger is provided to prevent bubbles from occurring on a bonded surface of a header tank, discharge the bubbles, and increase airtightness of the heat exchanger by extending bubble discharging units from one end of the header pipe to the other end thereof. A heat exchanger comprises first and second header tanks(110,120), inlet and outlet pipes(130,140), a plurality of tubes(150), and a plurality of fins(160). The first and second header tanks are bonded with header pipes(111) to form more than two compartments. The inlet and outlet pipes are formed at the first and second header tanks respectively. The tubes are connected to the first and second header tanks and formed with heat exchanging medium passages. The fins are arranged between the tubes. Bubble discharging units are formed the header pipes to discharge bubble. The bubble discharging units discharge the bubble generated on a bonded surface into a compartment. The bubble discharging units extend from one end of the header pipe to the other end thereof. |
