Pharmaceutical medication comprises an aromatase- inhibitor and antioxidants as active ingredients different from the aromatase- inhibitor. An independent claim is also included for a pharmaceutical composition comprising the aromatase inhibitor and a lipoic acid and/or green tea extract polyphenols, preferably OM24(RTM: Blend of all-natural ingredients containing polyphenols). ACTIVITY : Cytostatic; Endocrine-Gen. MECHANISM OF ACTION : The ability of the medication to treat breast cancer was tested in a 59-year-old patient diagnosed with estrogen receptor-positive (ER-positive) tumor in the right breast, where the patient was topically applied with a cream based formulation comprising alpha -lipoic acid (0.5%) and 4-hydroxyandrostendione (1.5%) for 29 days, 2 times daily. The result showed that the medication reduced the tumor volume by 78.5%. |
