<p>PURPOSE: A vehicle seat is provided to facilitate the operation and to be accurately arranged between adjustment positions. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle seat comprises four hinge units (3, 6, 8, 5), a lower backrest unit, a front leg (4), a rear leg (10), a seat unit, a coupling locker, a four-hinge formed unit (20), an eliminating spring (22), and a locking device (25). The front leg is locked to a longitudinal rail (2) using a locking device (4a). The front leg is unlocked by an unlocking lever (12). The rear leg is formed at the bottom of the lower backrest unit. The rear leg is locked by the locking device and is unlocked by a second unlocking lever. The seat unit is connected to the accepting unit of a first hinge point and the lower backrest unit of a second hinge point. The coupling locker is connected to the accepting unit of a third hinge point and the lower backrest unit of a fourth hinge point. The four-hinge formed unit includes hinge points (15, 16, 17, 18). The eliminating spring is arranged between the seat unit and the coupling locker. The locking device automatically locks or clamps two or more hinge points of the four-hinge formed unit to each other.</p> |
