PURPOSE: A curved display panel and a method for acquiring the radius of curvature in the same are provided to reduce the effects of viewing angle characteristics depending on a display panel and improve the uniformity of a display screen. CONSTITUTION: A curved display panel has a predetermined radius of curvature based on the horizontal width of the display panel. In the curved display panel, an observance view coefficient based on the horizontal width and the radius of curvature has a positive value. The observance view coefficient is a value based on the observance viewing angle of the curved display panel and the observance viewing angle of the flat display panel.
