<p>The method involves measuring color measuring data of color measuring fields in a measurement procedure using an illuminant. Field detection is carried out based on the color measuring data. A portion of spectrum is covered by the illuminant for performing field detection. Other color measuring data of the color measuring fields are determined in another measurement procedure using another illuminant, which does covers the portion of the spectrum. The latter data are assigned to the color measuring fields based on the field detection. An independent claim is also included for a hand color measuring device.</p> |
