PURPOSE: An aluminum alloy pipe for hydro forming is proper to a hydro forming process, thereby being utilized for manufacturing vehicle components of various shapes. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an aluminum alloy pipe for hydro forming includes the following steps of: preparing a billet of an aluminum alloy comprising 0.09-0.45 wt% of Si, 0.11-0.24 wt% of Fe, 0.02 wt% or less of Cu, 0.02-0.76 wt% of Mn, 2.7-4.1 wt% of Mg, 0.11-0.25 wt% of Cr, 0.003-0.014 wt% of Zn, 0.021-0.0031 wt% of Ti, and the rest of Al and unavoidable impurities; and extrusion-processing the billet into a pipe shape by using a die after homogenization-processing the billet.
