PURPOSE: An ultrasonic probe and ultrasonic diagnosis system are capable of easily identifying a position between a needle and an ultrasonic probe by comprising a transducer which receives an ultrasonic echo signal. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic probe (100) comprises a housing (110), a transducer (130) and a magnetic field generator (120). The transducer is contained in the housing and receives an ultrasonic echo signal from an object by radiating an ultrasonic wave to the object. The magnetic field generator is arranged in the housing and is configured to generate a magnetic field in the object. The ultrasonic probe calculates a relative positioning relationship between a position sensor and the magnetic field generator from a signal output from at least one of the position sensor and the magnetic field generator via a position calculation unit (150).
