<p>PURPOSE: A reflective color display device is provided to use an electrochromic material capable of expressing a middle-range gray scale, thereby improving black visibility. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode layer is faced with a second electrode layer. Electrochromic layers (14R,14G,14B) express a color or a black color according to an applied voltage. An electrolyte layer (30) contacts the electrochromic layers. The electrolyte layer is located between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer. A reflective layer (26) is located on the second electrode layer.</p> |
